An expressive 2020 Garnacha, which is a reflection of Campo Viejo’s expertise in Rioja winemaking and commitment to pushing the boundaries. Despite Tempranillo’s prevalence in the region, this 100% Garnacha testifies to Rioja’s diversity. Sourced mainly in Rioja Oriental where Garnacha thrives, the wine spends 4 months in new French oak barrels, helping us to achieve a balance between the natural fruitiness and juiciness of Garnacha with some structure and complexity. A versatile, easy-drinking red, which can be enjoyed slightly chilled, at room temperature, or paired with grilled vegetables, lasagne, pizza, frittata, charcuterie. Spain

The grapes in this wine are fermented in vats at a controlled temperature of around 25ºC. Maceration with skins takes place for approximately 12 days in order to deliver the colour of the wine. The wine then spends 4 months in French oak barrels before rounding off its ageing in the bottle.
